Aussie WGT a big win for pro gaming!
The Australian World GameMaster Tournament wrapped up as a triumph for Aussie esports, at the Grand Final last Saturday at Atomic Live.
All players gave their all, providing thrilling play for the hundreds of spectators. Calling the shots through the day was the team from ABC's Good Game show, making the event great fun for all involved.
At the end of the day players and spectators were treated to a special presentation from the legendary celebrity scientist Dr Karl.
Congratulations to everyone that participated. The winners are well deserved, and walked away with thousands of dollars in cash and prizes from the main sponsors ASUSand Intel.
WGT marked a new high in pro gaming in Australia, rewarding players for their skills with rich prizes, and laying it all on in a tournament arena the likes of which has never been seen before.
