“Mega HAWT”, is how we’d describe the week on Atomic. In case you missed the big news, we’ve started telling you about exactly why the upcoming Atomic Live event is going to be stupendous. It starts with this week’s announcement that we’re holding the World GamesMaster Tournament.

Online qualifying starts on August the 16th, and if you make it through (and I hope you do), we’ll be seeing you at the AGT Grand Final at Atomic Live on October the 20th!

Check out the WGT awesomeness HERE.

We will be announcing a, frankly, gobsmacking lineup of attractions for all the rest of Atomic Live, just believe me for now when I say it’s going to knock your socks off.

Another triumph this week was the deep impact of the rather lovely new August issue of Atomic. It’s a good one, packed with supremely irresistible tech and games joy. It’s a ‘gotta have it’ issue, don’t go missing out y’all!

There’s a bit of a documentary detailing the making of the cover photo HERE.

It’s high art meets chucking stuff around. Gold. We’ve also made you some yummy new Atomic wallpapers HERE, and we’ll add new ones soon.

Lastly for this week, welcome to the team Josh Collins! His writing appears in August Atomic, and now on the site. Josh has done his thing as an overclocking master. He’s cooler than dice. Read up on the adventure HERE.

Oh, and today is Haymarket Media’s 50th birthday. Happy birthday to our benevolent parents!

Ben
